RE: Why aren't Canadians having a crisis?

Lesmore49 Hit it on the head.Thats what wrong with the USA.Way to much money given out to people who couldn't afford it.Mostly due to the government from as far back as 1976 making the banks loan money to folks who don't qualifiy. The key is to live within your means, not I want it now!

RE: Do you lock your doors when you leave your rv when at a park

Usually unlocked. That way they want damage my door trying to get in.Ofcourse we don't leave alot of valueables inside our TT,but there is several things they could steal and sell at a flea market. Now when we go to bed we lock the TT and set the alarm on the truck.

RE: Update 29 Days after "We were robbed"

If what the owner of the R/V says is true then the infromation needs to be posted everywhere. It sounds like the canadian woman is trying to scam someone and Any crook needs to be brought out into the open. And its a shame that the canadian police isn't stepping up to the plate and do whats Right and give the R/V back.Anybody that would purchase a R/V from someone without a title or registeration isn't very bright or just a crook. If I lived in the same town or city I sure would like to know whos a crook so I wouldn't patronize their business.

I to use my blue tote to dump black tank. When we go to the beach and stay a week or two our favorite C/G only has about 10 sites with full hook-ups so without dumping the black tank I would be in a heap of .....

RE: AFTER MARKET ROTORS

Try RaceConcepts out of California. When I was looking for a complete set to go on a Ex this was the cheapest place I found.I purchased drilled/slotted rotors. They treated me really well.

RE: Help-Electrical Question

I too would agree to try another drop cord, and use the same pigtails.Try taking your ohm meter and see if you have any readings between hot/netural and netural/ground.I would bet you do.

Reliving some stress

For the past couple weeks I've been reading thread after thread of all this countries problems, and have even added my opinion from time to time.So to help my get over all of this I'm going camping this weekend and next weekend.I better spend my dollars before they are used to pay more taxes.:D

RE: The Economy & Bail Out Options

I took a hit today for a little over 10K,but I don't think the taxpayers should bail all this out.And before its over I'm sure I'll lose more, but the outcome will be better for all and not just for the rich.

RE: Residential electrical question

It isn't a code violation.Lets say you have a A/C unit that pulls 10.7amps,and the max OCP is 20 amps. You can pull #14 for your branch circuit and fuse this @ the max of the A/C nameplate which is 20 amps. The NEC addresses this in table 310.16. Max on #14 is 20,#12 is 25,and #10 is 35.I know if you come from the old school this doesn't sound correct, but it is what it is.

RE: Residential electrical question

As long as you don't tap off your kitchen recp circuit or bathroom recp circuit you will be fine.Lighting load can't be caught off your two kitchen circuits. If you have a 20 amp circuit feeding your bathroom you may catch the lights in that bathroom but you can't leave the bathroom and take it some place else.If its another circuit you are talking about then it might be code compliant. As per table 310.16 a #14 is good for 20 amps, and you can use 15 amp rated devices on 20 amp circuits.Hope this helps

RE: Fuel Availibility

Agree.Diesel really isn't a problem. If you are coming down I-77 stop over off sutton road about four or five miles as you enter south carolina at Loves Plaza.I filled up last thursday for $3.84 a gallon.

RE: Gas Avilablility in GA

Pretty much the shortages are from the piedmont region to the mountains of North Carolina,South Carolina, and Georgia. The southern side of the states don't appear to have alot of shortages but there is some there too.

RE: Doom and Gloom!

Personally I don't think the taxpayers should bail wall street out.Lets put it up for a vote and see which way it would go.The banks and big investers made some really bad decisions so my take is to let them reap what they sow.And times will get tighter but like stated if you pay your bills and don't go in over your head you will be OK.
